Good Technology has shipped GoodLink version 1.5, the next generation of its cradleless system for wirelessly connecting mobile workers with enterprise email and data. The company said GoodLink version 1.5 includes enhanced features for both enterprise IT professionals and mobile workers. Good also announced the completion of its GoodInfo wireless information system for accessing Web-enabled data sources and the Good G100 wireless handheld.

According to the Good Technology, the eGoodLink wireless corporate messaging system delivers continuously synchronized corporate email and data on variety of handhelds with no cradle required. The new version, GoodLink 1.5, supports Microsoft Exchange Server versions 5.5 and 2000. Good also announced it will support Microsoft Exchange "Titanium" when it ships. GoodLink 1.5's new enterprise security features include remote data erasing and restoration, wireless key updates and centrally-enforceable password policies.

In addition, the company said GoodLink 1.5 adds support for deployment across multiple Exchange sites on a LAN with a single GoodLink Server to provide corporate customers with a more scalable and more manageable system. The product also adds enhanced attachment viewing in Microsoft Excel, email sorting by subject or sender, and calendar invitations that detect and display conflicts during scheduling.
