Handango, a leading source for mobile applications, including the Palm OS, Symbian OS, Windows Mobile, and J2ME gives two sets of major awards each year, the bi-annual People's Choice awards and the Handango Champion Awards.

The People's Choice awards, which were announced today, are based on votes over several months from Handango customers, while the Champion Awards are the result of the judgment of editors in the mobile industry. The developer of each winning application receives $5,000 in marketing promotions
