Mobile gaming vendor Astraware is running a sale in June that knocks $5 off the price of 13 of its Pocket PC and Palm OS games, including Big Money, Chroma Games, Elixir, Equilibria, Fruit Frolic, GTS Racing Challenge, Link Letters, Mahjongg, Ricochet, Rooks Revenge, Toucan Tango, What Word, and Word Mojo. Virtual Pool ($24.95) from Celeris is a 3D pool simulation game that has gone mobile with a new the Pocket PC edition. The new mobile version uses the same physics as Virtual Pool for the desktop. The balls roll and collide just as they do on a real pool table. And you can put English on your shot, or hit the cue ball in any way that’s possible down at the pool hall. Replay your shot, visualize the results in advance, and save trick shots.

Moftware has set up Treotiger.com, an online accessory shop for Treo accessories. Treotiger.com offers Original Equipment Manufacturer products to users of Treo smartphones. The company said the site features product descriptions and product shots, as well as a focus on individual accessories.

Harry Putter Crazy Golf

Harry Putter Crazy Golf ($14.95) is a golf game from 4Pockets.com that is played from a first person perspective. Players view each shot just as if they were standing on the virtual play area themselves. With only a Putter and a Wedge, the task is to navigate around all 18 holes and complete the course in as few shots as possible.

PocketVolley

PocketVolley ($14.95) from PocketWorm.com is a 2-player (human and computer) "volleyball"-like game for the Pocket PC where you have to hit the ball so that it hits the opposite player's ground. When the ball's current owner loses a round (either because the ball touched the ground or he touched it 3 times), the opposite player becomes the owner. If a player is not the owner of the ball and loses a round, the opposite player gains a point. The game is over when either player reaches 15 points.

SpaceTime

PlanetSchnoogie has released version 1.5 of the Pocket PC version of Discord Studios' SpaceTime. SpaceTime, a mathematical and calculator application, brings 2D, 3D, and 4D graphing, in a complex number engine to handhelds.

Treo Audio Recorder

Personal Audio Recorder from Toysoft turns a Treo 600 smartphone into an audio recorder. It can record voice memos to RAM or on the external card. Options include different sample rates and record in mono or in stereo mode. Recorded voice memos can be beamed or transferred to the desktop using a card reader or a card exporter software. Voice memos can also be emailed with a email client

Burgerama

Burgerama from Ballshooter Games is a puzzle game for the Pocket PC. The main character is a young man who has just gotten a job at a fast-food chain. The player follows him from being a janitor to the chain's boss.

Allure Memory Coach

Intorine's Allure Memory Coach 1.0 ($9.95) is a Pocket PC game that aims to help train concentration and visual memory. By playing the game, the company claims you can get to know your visual memory level and improve it. In Allure Memory, players must remember images and the position of cards. For one move you may open two cards, if they are the same, they disappear, otherwise they close and still remain on the field.

PalmSource Euro DevCon

PalmSource, the provider of the Palm OS, has announced details of its annual PalmSource Euro Developer Conference, scheduled for September 28-29, in Munich, Germany. This event aims to provide attendees with 'best practices' for making applications smartphone-ready and reveal revenue opportunities with new Palm Powered Mobile World wireless operator and infrastructure partners in Europe and other geographies. Attendees' can become the first to see PalmSource's new smartphone OS and learn about, and use, the new Palm OS Developer Suite tools for Palm OS Cobalt.

Tantric

Astraware has launched Tantric ($17.95) for the Palm OS and Pocket PC. Tantric, formally known as Abysma, has players frantically arranging different shapes in a top down fashion to avoid leaving gaps for the impeding power sapping bar. Those people with a natural flair for efficient suitcase packing or arranging large furniture in a small room will take to Tantric like a fish to water.
