AT CTIA today, BlackBerry-maker Research in Motion and Yahoo! announced an agreement to allow users of the popular wireless handheld to seamlessly use Yahoo!'s services from their device. Like the recent release of Google Talk for the BlackBerry, Yahoo! Messenger support is included in the agreement and is already available for Sprint Nextel subscribers.

Yahoo! Messenger for BlackBerry is available for download here.

Not only will Yahoo! Mail be easily set up on a BlackBerry, but users will get some wireless synchronization features formerly only available with a BlackBerry Enterprise Server. Integration with Yahoo! Mail is available now for T-Mobile subscribers with support for other carriers coming soon.

BlackBerry users will also have access to a Yahoo! Search feature with an icon displayed prominently on the BlackBerry home screen. It will provide easy access to search, local, images, and other Yahoo! web sites.

These features will be included in the cost of the BlackBerry Internet Service.
