Helio service is overpriced IMO
Helio seems overpriced to me $85, $100 or $135/mo fixed. That rates up there with Verizon who are worth it. Helio is an unproven quantity in terms of the handset quality and the service and support. The phones seem OK but they have interoperability issues with MMS for example - only exchanging with Sprint right now. I think they would have done better to follow quirkier devices like the Hiptop to aim at this market. I suspect many younger people travel and would prefer the freedom that a GSM phone would give abroad.
