Product Delay Exacerbates Palm’s Woes

Late last week, Palm warned revenue for its most recent quarter, which ended on November 30th, would fall short. This sent the value of the company's shares down considerably. Palm's fortunes are in stark contrast to the successes experienced by rivals RIM, with its every-growing line of BlackBerrys, and Apple, with the iPhone. The iPhone is now the fastest selling smartphone on the market, although Apple only started shipping it on June 29th.
