The Outsider has given us BlackBerry lovers a lot of information to take in on Pinstack today. For all the Curve lovers out there hoping for GPS and Wi-Fi in one I am afraid to say there is nothing showing up on the horizon at the moment.

BlackBerry Curve 8310

  •  with GPS
  •  2 megapixel Camera
  •  Mapping & Navigation with the GPS
  •  BlackBerry Fast SPF Fix Technology
  •  New Titanium Color

    BlackBerry Curve 8310

  •  With WiFi 802.11bg support
  •  2 megapixel Camera

    BlackBerry 8820

  •  The most feature-rich BlackBerry device ever
  •  The first with GPS and Wi-Fi
  •  Thinnest BlackBerry
  •  Great Battery life

    The New Pearl

  •  Both GSM EDGE & CDMA planned
  •  External accessible microSD
  •  3.25 mm Headset Jack
  •  2 megapixel Camera
  •  New Battery Door Latch
  •  Wi-Fi 802.11bg on the EDGE version
  •  GPS on the CDMA version
  •  Fall 2007

Some other tidbits: a CDMA version of an 8300 series device is in the works for next year. A new BlackBerry OS, version 4.3, will be coming out around October. This OS will not be available for the 7100 series, but will be for the 8700, 8800, 8100, and 8300 series BlackBerryies. This will be the last OS update for the 8700 series. Desktop Manager is getting an overhaul, but no time line.

Streaming media will be available on CDMA devices all the time and on GSM devices when connected via Wi-Fi. The Curve is expected to be released in different colors to help tell them apart.
