Hurry up And Wait For 4G

4G roll-outs probably won't start until early in the next decade, but that hasn't stopped major players from pushing Long Term Evolution (LTE), Ultra Mobile Broadband (UMB) and IEEE 802.16m WiMAX as primary 4G technologies of the future. A new study posits an important question: What if all of these technologies are just stops along the way to a final standard?
