Mobile IM is not a fad that going to go away like yo-yos or Slinkys: research house Gartner predicts 95 percent of business employees will be using IM as their primary communication tool for voice and video communication as well as simple text chat and presence monitoring by 2013. Far from dissipating, the need for effective IM access while on the move looks bound to increase sharply over the next few years.
