Tip: BlackBerry - How Convenient are Your Convenience Keys?

Should you have the feeling that other BlackBerry users don't prioritize the same features you do, try resetting your Convenience Keys to the programs that you use most. Here’s how to do it:

  •  From your home screen, click on Options.

  •  Then, select Screen/Keyboard.

  •  Scroll down and you'll see "Right Side Convenience Key Opens:" and, predictably, "Left Side Convenience Key Opens:"

  •  Click on the current setting to bring up your list of programs.

  •  Click on one to select it and set it as the new Convenience Key.

  •  As you exit Options, you'll be prompted to save the change(s) that you made.

Now, if e-mail is the thing you use most, you can get to it with a quick press of the left or right convenience key—whichever you find more convenient.
