Parents beware: If you're trying to limit your teens' MySpace time, you may find they've just migrated from the family computer to their mobile phones. First there was Helio, the MVNO for the you and hip, followed by the likes of AT&T and Sprint making MySpace connections, now it is Verizon's turn. The carrier recently announced that all Mobile Web 2.0-enabled phones feature a direct connection to MySpace.

Here's how to MySpace through Verizon's Web 2.0 service:

From the Connect category on the Mobile Web 2.0 home screen, simply click MySpace Mobile Web and enter the site without typing a URL. Once you're in, your cell phone becomes your access to all the features you (or your teen) could ask for: editing profiles, viewing and adding friends, sending messages, and reading and contributing to blogs.

The best-or worst-part is that you don't even need Verizon's help to get your Mobile Web 2.0 set up. Simply register for it on a compatible phone by pulling down the Get It Now menu and selecting the News and Info category.

As for policing your kids' use of it-that may not be as simple.

To preview Mobile Web 2.0 and decide whether it's for you (or whether to indulge your kids), see here, where you'll also find a list of compatible Verizon handsets.
