To download the app, go to mobile.microsoft.com from your device and click on Total Access. Sign in (or register if you are a new user; note, existing Owner's Circle members use the same email address and password). Once you're logged in, click on "software" and choose "MSNBC." You'll be prompted through the download and installation process. When you're done, you'll find the MSNBC icon in your Programs folder. Launch it and begin enjoying news stories, video clips, photos and more from the Today show, the NBC Nightly news and other programs. And, when viewing an article, for example, you'll have the option to e-mail or text it to someone or save it for later review. For watching those Today Show and NBC Nightly News and clips, you'll want to make sure you're viewing videos with the best settings for your system. When you click on "videos" from the MSNBC home page, you'll see "bandwidth" and a rating such as "high." Next to that, you should see in red "Change Video Quality Tip." Here's where you can toggle between low and high quality. For, viewing will be preferable with high bandwidth, but if you're in a pinch and desperately need to catch something, the low bandwidth option may make it possible for you when high is simply too much for your carrier’s network. Audio playback is equal with either the low or high-bandwidth options, so even if you’re stuck watching grainy video, you should be able to hear the story. Related Links:
