For myriad reasons you might have your BlackBerry set to sync with more than one calendar. Could be you sync with your office's master calendar as well as your own computer's. Maybe you and your equally-busy spouse keep each other's whereabouts on both devices for cross-checking. Whatever the convenience, when it's time to put an appointment on your own schedule, you might prefer to see just that set of data points. In addition to allowing you to sync to multiple calendars, and to color-coordinate which is which, BlackBerry lets you hide the ones you don't wish to see.
From the home screen, open the calendar. Press the menu button and choose "select calendar." Your list of calendars that sync with the device will appear and the default option is to show all of them. You can use the trackball to select just one, though, and click on its radio button.
Now, when you look at the calendar only entries for the user you selected will appear.
