Blackberry
Hi, I actually work for the Technical dept that supports blackberry for T-Mobile(uk). I bought a device a few months ago and it's excellent, the corporate version is even better with features like wirless calander sync, and global address look up. In responce to post about Irda on the device it does not work as it's not supported by the software yet. There is a comprehensive user guide on the cd supplied with the device if you explore the actual disc to the doc's folder.

Great smartphone
This is the best phone I have had and it is a good pda, having access to all my Outlook contacts, and Calendar are huge benefits. But this can be a call center as well the only feature that I think would make it perfect is a speaker phone, so I could still talk to the person while looking at my calendar or taking notes during the conversation.

BB 6230
I support about 60 of these units. Battery life will run you about 1 week. This is if you are using the BB for emials only. If you add phone use the battery life will very. Over all a good unit. Next steps for RIM would be to add a camera, better the color model as it is tough to see in low light. More 3rd party apps.

Good tool to stay in touch on the run.
I have t-mobile as my service, I like the USB for syncing and charging. The blackberry is only a week old so I still haven't gotten into everything yet. Documentation on it is very limited. I would be interested in more technical documentation. But for the average user the document probably is sufficiant. I really like that I can use AOL instant messenger throught T-Mobile and the SMS. The only thing I find frustrating is that since it is relatively new there isn't much info that I can find on it. For instance there appears to be a IR port on the top but I don't see anything anywhere about how it can be used if it can be used.
