6750 is good to go!
I am the IT officer for my unit. We have been using the Blackberry 950/957's for three years and had been very happy with them. They only complaint was lack of attachment service and having to carry a cell phone too. Well the 6750 with desktop 3.6 and Blackberry Enterprise Server(BES) 3.6 have fixed that. Yes, you need the BES to run the Mobile Data Service for the inculded web browser and attachement viewing service(there are third party services that you have to pay for that support non-BES clients). All in all the 6750 has performed very well, except for the battery life. Because it now has a cell phone in it, the battery life is only about 36-40 hours (with 1 or 2 short calls). We went with Verizon because of coverage, they do provide the most complete coverage out of all the cellular companies. I have not had to deal with thier service dept, but if it's anything like getting my cell phone fixed, I will be prepared to wait a looonnnnggggg time. Reply to this thread if you have any questions I can help with.

Shame on Verizon
Verizon is unable to give straight answers about the 6750. What a waste of a good piece of hardware. Shame on them for not being prepared to support it.

I am out to look for a provider who will and can! If any one knows of someone who will support the email and web features, please let me know!

Blackberry 6750 Newbie
The VERIZON product brochure for the blackberry 6750's we just purchased clearly indicates they have color screens. Surprise, they are really monochrome. Heard a rumor that the color units wont be available until summer 2004. Anyone know anything about this?

We purchased and installed the Enterprise Server sw (on its own hardware plus $5k for the sw) and the tech had it up and working in a day... a few routing table issues that he quickly resolved (he is an excellent tech!)

We plan to get the web interface working, if possible, through the enterprise server.

Since this is my first blackberry I am still getting used to it, but so far the email feature works and the phone works (though odd to hold the blackberry up to your ear, ear bud use is fine.)

2cents, Lin

Internet Feature Explanation
I am reading opinions regarding internet browsing. The website explains...

"*Internet browsing via the BlackBerry Browser requires the Mobile Data Service feature of the BlackBerry Enterprise Server. "

This is lame, I agree, however I am not sure you can complain to the FCC about it.

Verizon
The product is excellent - but Verizon's service is lacking. Every comment I read before mine has been the case for me too. I'm outraged that I read in their online advertisements that the unit is Web enabled; I go into the store and I'm told the exact same thing. I purchase the unit and then I'm told by customer service that they do not in fact have web access.

If this is not very soon corrected, I will be filing a complaint with the Federal Trade Commission and other consumer protection agencies. I really think this is an absolute fraud.

Useless
What good is a device if the software doesnt do what its supposed to do. Attachment support does not exist and application crashes are the norm for this. Verizon doesnt return calls or support. And were a T-Support client to blackberry. Out of the 5 devices we have they have to run the outdated software without attachment support. Otherwise they crash to the point where they have to be erased and re-imaged with the original software that came on CD. Very Poor of them to release this when its obvious it needs a few more months development. Should have gone with T-Mobile.
