Softcentral L.L.C. is pleased to announce the availability of Yak On! 1.10. Yak On! is the premier instant messaging client for the BlackBerry. Yak On! supports AIM, ICQ, MSN, and PIN to PIN instant messaging. Yak On!'s features include:

• Tabbed chat screen with support for up to four concurrent conversations

• New IM and buddy sign on alerts

• URL linking for email addresses, telephone numbers, and web addresses in conversations.

• Buddy add/delete for all services

• Buddy block/unblock for AIM, ICQ, and MSN

• Buddy status including online, offline, away, and idle with idle time.
  
  Version 1.10 introduces several new features including

• ICQ protocol support

• Local aliases for your buddies. You can now rename your buddies in your buddy list. These aliases are local to your BlackBerry.

• Email conversation histories from your BlackBerry to any email address. This feature includes address book integration with the address book on your BlackBerry

• MSN protocol support improvements and bug fixes

• New alert options to always alert for new messages so that you can set your BlackBerry down and always be notified when a new IM comes in even if the chat is open in the chat window.

Because this release includes several improvements, features, and bug fixes, we have reset all expired trial licenses. If you have tried Yak On! previously, we encourage you to download version 1.10 and try out the new features and improvements.
